Alyson joined The Bridge team in August of 2008 as a residential counselor for the Northwood Crisis Residential Program (CRP). 

She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 2006 from Auburn University at Montgomery. She gained  counseling experience while attending Auburn University by becoming a rape counselor through United Way. She also worked with individuals with intellectual disabilities while doing her internship with The Learning Tree, Inc. Her other volunteer experience includes doing wildlife educational programs with the Southeastern Raptor Rehabilitation Center at Auburn University.

She is currently pursuing her certification from AADA as an alcohol and drug abuse professional (CADP) and her Master’s Degree from Jacksonville State University.
