Penelope joined The Bridge clinical team in 2003 as a residential counselor. She was promoted within the same year to program manager for the adolescent female program-About Face. In 2005 she was promoted to her current position as residential services coordinator for the Gadsden Campus. This position provides administrative oversight to the three residential programs located on the Gadsden Campus (Northwood, Mitchell and Kennington).
Penelope graduated from Jacksonville State University (JSU) in 2005 with a Master’s Degree in Counseling and in 2007 with an Educational Specialist Degree in Counselor Education. She has been an Associate Licensed Counselor (ALC) with the Alabama Board of Examiners since 2008. She is currently seeking licensure with AADAA for an MLAP and is on track to becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) by July of 2010.
Penelope’s previous career includes twenty years of military service with the Air Force. In March of 2007 she retired with the rank of technical sergeant (E6). We are very grateful for your service to our country.
