Mark is a noted voice/advocate for adolescent recovery in Alabama. Over the past twenty nine years he has trained hundreds of Judges, probation officers, counselors, social workers, nurses and lay persons on understanding adolescent addiction and recovery. Mark’s vision is that each client would have an “Ah-ha!” moment in which they discover their true worth, value and purpose.

Mark began his career with The Bridge in February of 1980. Over the years he has served in various roles as a counselor, manager, coordinator, and clinical director. In 2005, he was promoted to his current position as the associate executive director.

Mark graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Master of Science Degree in Counseling. He has been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2001 and a Certified Adolescent Alcohol and Drug Professional (CAADP) since 2004.
