Carrie came to The Bridge in August 2009 and worked as a Treatment Aid.  In December 2009, she was promoted to the position of a Residential Counselor in the Northwood Crisis Residential Program (NCRP).  Her interest in working with adolescents first began in high school when she volunteered for three years at Thirteenth Place, a group home in Gadsden for youth in crisis situations. 
 
Carrie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Ashford University in September 2008.  She is currently working towards her certification from AADA as an alcohol and drug abuse professional (CADP).  She also plans to earn a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling.
 
Carrie moved back to Alabama with her husband, Robert, in March 2009 after he finished his time of service in the USMC at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point in Havelock, NC.  They now reside in the Glencoe area.
