Adolescent Outpatient Programs
The Bridge is proud to partner with counties throughout the state of Alabama to provide outpatient substance use treatment programs. Our adolescent programs are designed for males and females between the ages of 12 and 18 who are currently experiencing, or are at risk for, a substance use disorder. The outpatient programs emphasize an individualized treatment plan that includes members of the family as well as the adolescent.

The individualized treatment plan includes treatment at a level appropriate to the severity of the adolescent’s substance use problem. Treatment is designed to help the individual achieve permanent changes in his or her alcohol and/or drug-using behavior and mental functioning.  To accomplish this, services address major lifestyle, attitudinal, and behavioral issues that have the potential to undermine the goals of treatment or inhibit the individual's ability to cope with major life tasks without the  use of alcohol or other drugs.

We currently operate outpatient programs certified by the Alabama Department of Mental Health in these counties/locations:

Autauga Clay Elmore Perry
Baldwin Cleburne Etowah Pickens
Bibb Coosa Hale Randolph
Calhoun Cullman Mobile Talledega
Cherokee Dallas Montgomery Tuscaloosa
Chambers DeKalb Mt. Meigs

Referrals are accepted from the courts, school systems, parents, and other community agencies; however, participants do not have to be referred from these sources.   Contact us to schedule a time for screening and assessment.
